At CostaCover, we strive to represent our wallpaper designs and colors as accurately as possible. However, the appearance of the final printed product may vary from what you see on your screen due to several factors, including differences in wallpaper materials, device display settings, and lighting conditions. 
These variations are a natural part of how colors are displayed and perceived. Below, we explain the key factors that may affect the appearance of your wallpaper and what to consider before placing your order.

Different Material Whiteness

Different wallpaper materials have different compositions and may vary slightly in their natural base whiteness.

SMOOTH VS. CANVAS FINISHES

The same design may appear slightly different on Smooth and Canvas wallpaper finishes.

Smooth materials provide a more even surface, allowing colors to appear brighter and more vibrant.

Canvas materials have a textured surface that can make colors appear slightly softer or more muted, especially in dark and saturated designs. However, Canvas offers a beautiful, fabric-like texture that adds depth and character to the wallpaper.

Screen Color vs. Print Color

Colors may look different on different devices. Digital color is not always identical to printed color.

Room Lighting Matters

Lighting can change how colors appear. North-facing rooms may look cooler, while afternoon or sunset light can make colors appear warmer. Always evaluate the color in your own space.

ARTISTIC EFFECTS & DESIGN DETAILS

Some CostaCover designs intentionally include artistic effects such as brush strokes, watercolor effects, distressed or vintage textures, concrete effects, grain, soft focus, uneven coloring, faded areas, or other visual elements. These effects are part of the original artwork and are not considered printing or manufacturing defects.

METALLIC & FOIL EFFECTS

Metallic-looking effects, including gold, silver, bronze, glitter, and foil-style details, are digitally printed to simulate these finishes. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product description, our wallpaper does not contain actual metallic foil, glitter, or reflective materials. These effects are visual elements of the artwork and do not produce a real metallic shine.

CUSTOMER-PROVIDED ARTWORK

For custom orders using customer-provided images, photos, logos, or artwork, the final print quality depends on the resolution, sharpness, color profile, and overall quality of the submitted file.

CostaCover is not responsible for pixelation, blurriness, distortion, compression artifacts, or other print quality issues resulting directly from limitations in the original file, rather than a printing or manufacturing error.

By submitting artwork for printing, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use and reproduce the provided material.

CUSTOM-PRINTED PRODUCTS

Our wallpaper is printed specifically for each order based on the selected design, size, material, and other customer-selected options. Please carefully review the product images, close-up views, videos, specifications, and measurements before ordering.

PRINT BATCH VARIATIONS

Slight color variations may occur between separate print runs, even when the same design and material are selected. For the most consistent appearance, we recommend ordering all wallpaper needed for your project at the same time.

Please double-check your wall measurements before placing your order to ensure that the selected wallpaper dimensions fully cover your wall in both width and height.

If you need help calculating the required amount of wallpaper, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our team will be happy to assist you.

Important: Depending on the design and its original artwork, we may not always be able to extend the pattern in width or height to accommodate additional wallpaper orders. Ordering insufficient material may result in difficulties matching or extending the original design.

Samples Since the appearance of colors may vary depending on the wallpaper material, your device's screen settings, and the lighting conditions in your space, we strongly recommend ordering a physical sample before making your final purchase. This allows you to see the actual printed colors and texture in your own environment.

Apply the sample to your wall and view it from about 6–10 feet away for the most accurate overall impression.
