COSTACOVER CARE

We are Costa Cover, a U.S.-based company located in sunny Florida, specializing in wallpaper printing since 2017. Our materials are eco-friendly, certified, and completely safe for children, making them ideal for family homes, playrooms, and learning spaces.

With over 20,000 completed projects behind us, we take pride in helping families and communities create warm, inspiring, and beautiful spaces that bring comfort and joy.

Today, we’re launching CostaCover Care - our social-impact initiative dedicated to creating sensory-conscious and inclusive environments for children. Costa Cover serves as the primary wallpaper and production partner for the Inclusive Spaces Fund, a nonprofit organization supporting schools and centers that serve neurodivergent children. Through this partnership, Costa Cover provides design expertise, U.S.-based wallpaper production, and installation support using our specially developed Comfort Collection — a curated line of calming, child-conscious wallcoverings designed for classrooms, therapy rooms, calming rooms, and other inclusive learning spaces.

Why it matters

The environment around children with autism spectrum plays a significant role in their emotional well-being, helping them feel safe and calm. Read more in this study.

Design considerations for sensory-conscious spaces

There is no single color palette or pattern that is appropriate for every neurodivergent child. Individual sensory preferences and needs vary.

When designing lower-visual-intensity spaces, schools, therapists, designers, and families may consider:

  • softer or lower-saturation color combinations;
  • patterns with less visual clutter and strong contrast;
  • clear, predictable compositions;
  • nature-inspired or familiar imagery selected with input from the people using the space.

These are general environmental design considerations and are not individualized therapeutic recommendations.

How we help

We have set monthly quotas to support centers by fully covering the printing and installation of wallpapers in selected spaces.

Any child care center working with autistic spectrum children is welcome to apply for the project, and we will do our best to help. Please fill out the contact form below.
